To be sold, by auction, By John Peacock, On Tuesday next the 11th Day of October, 1785, The Houshold Furniture, of Mr. Charles White, deceased, at Conduit Farm, brought for the conveniency of the sale, to the Great Room over the Market House, at Godalming. Consisting of bedsteads and furniture, feather beds and bedding, chairs and tables, a good eight day clock, large and small coppers, kitchen furniture and brewing utensils. The Sale to begin at Eleven O'Clock.

The Genuine and Curious Collection of Gold, Silver, and Copper, British and Saxon coins and medals of Mr. Jasper Bull, deceased, Late Secretary to the New-River Company; By Order of the Executor of Mr. William Bull. Twenty - Cent. to be paid at the Time of Sale, and the Remainder within Eight Days; and if any Lots remain uncleared after the Time limited, the Deposit Money to be forfeited, and the Goods resold; and if any Loss arises by the Re-Selling, the Loss to be made good by the first Purchaser, together with the Charges of Re-Selling the same. A catalogue of curious and valuable manuscripts, in 101 volumes in folio; containing The Marrow and Substance of all Charters and Retours then extant in the Records, or to be found in the Chartularies of Monasteries, or other Religious Houses: Collected by an express Commission and Warrant from King James the VI. for the Benefit of his Majesty's Lieges, and from King Charles the I. for clearing the Superiorities and Revenues of the Principality of Scotland. Directed to Mr. James Law of Bogie, Grandfather to John Law of Neatherurd. To be Sold by Way of auction, on Thursday the 16th of July 1724, in the West-End of the Royal Exchange, Edinburgh. The Books may be seen at the Place of Sale every Tuesday and Thursday, from the 1st of June, to the Time of auction, from 3 a Clock Afternoon, to 5. N. B. That in carrying on these laborious and expensive Collections, the said Mr. James Law did contract great Debts upon his own Estate, by paying of Servants, and by posting Five several Times to Court, and staying there sometimes a whole Year on his own Charges, expecting to be reimbursed and rewarded by his Majesty, of which he had been frequently assured; but, by Reason of the Difficulties of the Times, and that King's Misfortunes, was disappointed.
